VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Volunteer Opportunities
The Council on Aging could not accomplish its work without the assistance of volunteers. Toward this end, we offer challenging opportunities for volunteers to choose from and a supportive network for managing our volunteer workforce. The many needs that volunteers can help to fulfill include; delivering meals on wheels, the congregate lunch program, medical transportation, personal food shopping, prescription pick up,  library book delivery, Senior Newsletter distribution, office work, and friendly visiting and phone calls. Volunteers who possess special skills are encouraged to donate them through teaching a class or developing a new program in conjunction with Council on Aging Staff.  Volunteer applications and CORI checks are required.
