Robert Carr, Chairperson

Robert Carr is a retired corporate lawyer from Gadsby Hannah, LLP (now McCarter and English, LLP), where he specialized in tax-exempt bonds. During his 29 years as an attorney he has served as bond counsel for the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency, Boston Housing Authority, and New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority. He has lived in Marshfield for 16 years. He and his wife were citizens of the year in 1999 for their leadership in conserving Phillips Farm.
Martine Anderson

A resident of Marshfield since 1963 and a teacher in Marshfield for 38 years, Martine Anderson has served on the Advisory Board, the Recycling Committee, the Capital Budget Committee, the Charter Review Committee and the Marshfield Housing Authority. She currently serves on the Boards of the local food pantry and the Marshfield Branch of the Y.W.C.A.

Roger is an engineer with NSTAR and has served as the Planning Board's representative on the Marshfield Housing Partnership. He now serves as a citizen appointee.

Jack has been a resident of Marshfield for 15 years. He is the CEO of Buythecase.Net and President of Majestic Sales Corporation. Jack is involved with many community programs such as the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield.
Bill Ivey

Bill is a resident of Marshfield for 12 years. He is a registered engineer and works for Children’s Hospital. Bill is the Planning Board’s representative to the Housing Partnership.
Tom Kane

Tom represents the Marshfield Housing Authority on the Housing Partnership and has been a resident of Marshfield for the past 18 years. Tom is currently the Director of Purchasing at Roger Williams University.
Matt McDonough

Matt lives at 335 Careswell Street in the Green Harbor neighborhood of Marshfield with his wife Suzanne and their daughter Cara. He works as an Assistant District Attorney in the Norfolk County District Attorneys office. Matt served as a member of the Marshfield School Committee from 2007-2010 and was elected to the Board of Selectman in May of 2010. He has been a member of the town playground committee and is a member of the non-profit, Marshfield Kids at Play, Inc. Matt volunteers as an attorney coach for the Marshfield High School Mock Trial team.
Rev. Barbara Peterson

Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Rev. Peterson has been a resident of Marshfield for 10 years. Rev. Peterson was a founding member of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, a grassroots organization that works to promote affordable housing, quality healthcare and a variety of other community programs.



MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Marshfield Housing Partnership Committee is to identify the needs of residents for affordable housing and develop strategies that are consistent with other town priorities to meet those needs.

The Town of Marshfield is a coastal community located in southeastern Massachusetts in Plymouth County. The Town’s population is 25,500 with a significant increase during the summer months. Marshfield is 31.70 square miles in area and contains 3.25 miles of ocean front property. The town was incorporated in 1640 and has a traditional New England government structure including a three member Board of Selectmen, Town Administrator and Open Town Meeting. Among the basic services provided to residents are public safety, schools, water, and sewer, trash removal, recreation, a public library, and a Senior Center. Best known as the home of Daniel Webster, Marshfield’s rich history of over 350 years dates back to the Pre-Revolutionary War era.
