PERSON OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
Dear Marshfield Residents,
As some of you may have heard, each week during our Selectmen’s Meeting we will honor a “Person of the Week”.
Marshfield has many wonderful individuals who make living in our community such a great experience. Every year the Marshfield Chamber and the Marshfield Mariner honor a “Citizen of the Year” and there have been some truly remarkable people in the list of honorees. But there are also people whose deeds may not be monumental to all, and yet are still very important to those around them.
Each week, the Board of Selectmen will honor one such person. We will take nominations from residents either in the Selectmen’s Office at Town Hall or through this web site (Online Nomination Paper). You may want to acknowledge a neighbor or friend who has helped make your life in Marshfield a little easier.
Recipients of the “Person of the Week” award will receive a letter and certificate from the Board of Selectmen. It may even be possible to have some recipients come to the meeting and receive their certificates in front of our cable audience.
We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to highlight some of the wonderful citizens of our Town.
