The Cemeteries, Trees and Greens staff is responsible for maintaining over 135 acres of town-owned land, parks and cemeteries and 32 athletic fields.

Cemeteries: funerals, interments, seeding, loaming, trimming, mowing, rubbish, foundations and markers, funeral flowers, snow plowing, and tree and shrub maintenance/planting.

Trees: removal and planting, trimming of low hanging branches, and tree hearings.

Roadside Maintenance: trimming and pruning of 480 miles of road sides.

Schools: mowing, rubbish removal, irrigation, benches at all ballfields, soccer fields, tennis courts, football fields, track, over seeding, loam, fertilization contract, basketball courts.

Traffic Islands: The Cemetery/Trees/Greens Division maintains approximately 16 traffic islands that have not been adopted. This includes mowing, trimming and general upkeep.
