****The Marshfield Conservation Commission is looking for citizens interested in helping to protect the environment. Meetings are normally held the first and third Tuesdays of each month to review projects near sensitive environmental resource areas. Mission and Purpose The Conservation Commission administers the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, and the Town of Marshfield's Wetland Protection Bylaw, helping to preserve and protect wetland resources within the town. The Commission also manages over 2500 acres of conservation land for wildlife and passive recreation.
Meetings are normally held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, with the public hearing portion beginning at 7:30 p.m. on these same evenings. The meetings are held at the Marshfield Town Hall, 870 Moraine Street, 2nd Floor Hearing Room. The public is invited to attend all meetings.
