Help reduce energy costs in Marshfield

Marshfield Energy Committee wants to help reduce high energy costs for residents and businesses. We are looking to partner with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center as part of a program called ‘HeatSmart Marshfield’.

HeatSmart is a community-based outreach and education program to encourage the adoption of clean efficient heating and cooling technologies. Those technologies would include air-source heat pumps (aka: Mini Splits), solar hot water, ground-source heat pumps and modern wood heating.

The Program aims to help drive down installation cost through a group purchasing model. Into its second year, HeatSmart has shown the community-focus model works. These technologies have helped reduce energy cost from 30-80%, depending on the technology, current energy usage, installation, etc.

To show Marshfield can be a successful HeatSmart Community we need to show the MassCEC we understand and want to help reduce energy costs through these technologies. Please take this brief survey to show your interest.
