PROPERTY TAX CLASSIFICATION HEARING

The Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 7:15 p.m. regarding the allocation of the FY 2021 tax levy among the various classes of property in the Town.  All real estate in the Town of Marshfield is classified according to use.  The allocation of the tax levy may be adjusted, within certain limits, between the Residential class and the Commercial/Industrial/Personal Property classes by the Board of Selectmen. The public hearing will be held remotely and without any ability to attend in person as a result of the state of public health emergency and the limitation on the use of meeting space. Interested citizens are invited to participate in the discussion.  Information on how to remotely connect to this public hearing will be available on the Town’s website on the Board of Selectmen Agenda two business days prior to the hearing.
