Message From The Town Administrator Regarding Rumors Surrounding Mounce Farm

"I am writing on behalf of the Marshfield Board of Selectmen to respond to the anonymous letter that was posted on Facebook and delivered to peoples’ mailboxes on Union and Pine Streets earlier today. The statement gives false information that prisoner labor will be used at Mounce Farm land owned by the Town. This is absolutely false and misleading. The Sheriff of Plymouth County knows nothing about this issue.
An investigation is underway to find who is spreading this misinformation and trying to cause fear to our residents. If anyone has information regarding this issue please contact me at Town Hall tomorrow.
