Town of Marshfield Cooling Areas

Marshfield residents who don't have access to air conditioning and/or have respiratory issues are encouraged to find a cool place to escape the heat during the upcoming heat wave. On Thursday August 4 and Friday August 5 the Senior Center, Library and Town Hall will be open during normal hours. On Saturday August 6 the Senior Center will be open from 10:00am until 4:00pm and the library will be open from 9:00am until 4:30pm (see complete list of hours below). Residents are welcome to stop by during these hours to cool down, bottled water will be available at all locations. Please remember to stay hydrated and stay out of the sun as much as possible during this extreme heat, and remember to check on your elderly and homebound neighbors to make sure they are okay. 

TOWN HALL: Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm, Saturday CLOSED

SENIOR CENTER: Thursday and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, Saturday 10am-4pm

VENTRESS LIBRARY: Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-4:30pm, Saturday 9am-4:30pm
