PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY INFORMATION

LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE MARCH 3, 2020 PRIMARY IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2020.  YOU CAN REGISTER IN PERSON UNTIL 8:00 P.M. AT THE TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE OR ON LINE AT WWW.REGISTERTOVOTEMA.COM UNTIL 11:59 P.M. BY USING YOUR STATE ISSUED DRIVER'S LICENSE OR IDENTIFICATION CARD.  MAIL-IN REGISTRATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED MARCH 3RD.

 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY IS TUESDAY, MARCH 3, 2020 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Furnace Brook Middle School Gymnasium

Early voting will be conducted for five days from February 24 - February 28th at the 1st Congregational Church Parish House Community Room at 1981 Ocean Street Marshfield, MA (Town Hall will be under construction during this period for the installation of an elevator).  Early voting is available to any Marshfield registered voter.  The hours will mirror Town Hall operating hours, Monday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

All Marshfield registered voters who will not be in Marshfield on March 3rd, can vote by Absentee Ballot either in person at the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours or in the alternative, the voter may mail or email an absentee ballot request form bearing the signature of the requesting party and we will mail a ballot.  The very last date and time to request an absentee ballot or vote absentee in person is 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020.  No ballots may be hand carried to any voter unless the voter is admitted to the hospital within three days of the election and the voter designates someone in writing to carry the ballot to them in the hospital.  Here is a link to the absentee ballot request:  http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ELE/elepdf/absentee/English-Absentee-Ballot-Application.pdf
