ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND VISITORS!! Information Regarding Beach Plover Population

As in years past we have a population of piping plovers in the Rexhame dunes and beach area. 

We are working alongside Audubon and the state to handle this delicate situation properly. 

In addition to the signage we have fenced off the dunes areas to restrict anyone from disturbing the plovers. 

We ask that especially with the upcoming holiday that people avoid disturbing the dunes in an effort to protect the piping plovers and all of our natural wildlife.
