Town of Marshfield COOLING AREAS

Due to the heat wave, our cooling centers will be open to the public on Wednesday, September 6th; Thursday, September 7th; Friday, September 8th; and Saturday, September 9th (Library only). Marshfield residents who don’t have access to air conditioning and/or have respiratory issues are encouraged to use these or other locations to cool down during this extreme heat. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the Senior Center, Library, and Town Hall will be open during normal hours. On Saturday, the Library will be open during normal hours. Please see listed hours below. Residents are welcome to stop by during these hours to cool down. Remember to stay hydrated, stay out of the sun as much as possible during this extreme heat, and to check on your elderly and homebound neighbors to make sure they are okay.

 

  • Town Hall: Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm & Friday 8:00am – 12:30pm
  • Senior Center: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Ventress Library: Wednesday and Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm; Friday and Saturday 9:00am – 4:30pm
